I am an HCPC registered and have 3 years clinical experience in MSK, have enhanced skills and an expertise in the management of Musculoskeletal conditions. I have done Bachelors in Physical therapy and to enhance my clinical skills and knowledge i have done Post graduation 2 years Masters in Orthopedics MSK Manual Physical therapy. I am a FCP MSK at Atta Memorial Hospital. As the First Contact MSK Physiotherapists I used to assess patients with soft tissue muscle pain at their first point of contact or for follow-up management as appropriate within the healthcare system. Provide specialist advice on the management of musculoskeletal conditions to patients, carers and other health care professionals. Provide expert MSK assessment, diagnosis and first-line treatment, self-care advice and if required and appropriate, discharge a person without medical or onward referral. My approach towards patients is always holistic and patient-centered, taking the patient as a whole and not just focusing on the local pathology to which he/she is referred. I am humble, polite, and a good listener to patients' problems.
I am a reliable team member who has always collaborated with other medical professionals to devise and implement physiotherapy plans through maintaining a safe clinical environment, continuously assessing the area to ensure regulatory standards and organization policies. Attend multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences and ward rounds as required by the rotation. My experience at different hospitals and institutions has given me the opportunity to develop my clinical skills including evidence-based patient assessment and management. I understand the importance of making sure I maintain competence in my role and I always set aside time each month to concentrate on my own continuous professional development (CPD).
