My experience in various specialties has enabled me to develop stress handling skills as I maintain a calm and professional manner when dealing with service users who may behave inappropriately, be aggressive or emotionally disturbed and whilst being subject to multiple often conflicting demands. I am an analytical thinker, I always identify and extract key information from a problem and develop workable solutions to resolve the problem. I always treat my patients as I would treat myself, which is treating them with utmost care, addressing all their needs and supporting them physically as well as mentally. For example, I've learnt that it's essential to give assurance to patients when required. This not only motivates them but also helps them to co- operate to their fullest throughout the treatment plan, which in turn results in a positive outcome.
