I have a degree in Physiotherapy and I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I am working towards CSP membership. I have completed a post-graduate education/ MSc degree (level 7 equivalent) and professionally validated specialist courses relevant to musculoskeletal Physiotherapy care. I have 14 years of post-graduate experience which involves recent and relevant experience working at band 5, band 6 and band 7 levels with rotations through Orthopaedic, Musculoskeletal, Neurology, Cardio-Respiratory, Paediatric, Geriatric/ Adult Care, Women Health and Community Physiotherapy Units. I have recent and relevant experience working as an autonomous practitioner in a primary care setting, offering First Contact Physiotherapy services. I have experience of a multidisciplinary team approach and working collaboratively with other professions and agencies including statutory, private and voluntary sector services. I can organise, prioritise and delegate caseloads and I also have the ability to keep accurate and comprehensive records in line with national and local policies and standards in Nigeria and UK. I have experience in the use of Information Technology (IT) applications. Needless to say, I have experience in clinical supervision both as a supervisee and supervisor to both student and junior colleagues. I have strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management. I have experience using musculoskeletal Physiotherapy quality assurance tools, specialist assessments, care pathways, guidelines and treatment protocols. I have experience taking part in or leading Projects/ service improvements, critical appraisal, audit or research projects and working shifts/ weekends during calls. I possess the knowledge and clinical reasoning skills to support and promote advanced clinical practice in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. I have excellent knowledge of the roles of other professionals and the principles of partnership, student-centered learning and reflective practice. I have good knowledge of clinical standards and the ability to implement and audit these in the team. I have a perfect knowledge of the principles of clinical governance and ways to promote and support equality and value diversity. I have excellent specialist knowledge and clinical reasoning skills to support expert clinical practice in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
