About Us: Ability Therapies Ltd is an independent paediatric physiotherapy service dedicated to delivering high-quality therapeutic intervention to children with various conditions including cerebral palsy, developmental delay, genetic and chromosomal conditions. Our team is committed to enhancing the lives of our patients through personalised, compassionate, and evidence-based therapy. We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Physiotherapist with an interest in neurological disorders to join our team and contribute to our shared goal; to help children maximise every ability and reach their full potential! Position Overview: As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will work closely predominantly with children-young adults, alongside their families to assess, deliver evidence- based therapy intervention. You will develop and implement individualised treatment plans to maximise each individual’s potential and overall independence. You will need to be able to travel to both school and home visits within the Essex and Kent area postcodes. The role requires strong clinical skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively. Requirements: • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. • Registered bodies: Current registration with HCPC/CSP (APCP preferred) • Driving Licence • Experience: Specific experience or keen interest in treating children with neurological disorders such as cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions is required. • Skills: o Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills specific to paediatric physiotherapy o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. o Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care. o Proficiency in using relevant physiotherapy equipment. o Reflective practise to ensure highest quality of care. • Physical health and handling: o You will be as part of your therapeutic handling to either lift, push or pull, or to offer assistance or supervision for up to 7 hours per day.
