Perfect Balance Rehabilitation Centre
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE | Contract Type: Full-time | Salary: 25-40k AED per month Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and sports injuries to take on a varied caseload in a supportive and progressive private practice environment. You’ll work closely with clients ranging from recreational to elite-level athletes, as well as patients presenting with both acute and chronic pain conditions. A key part of this role involves applying sound rehabilitation principles and confidently progressing or regressing treatment plans through all stages of recovery — from acute injury to end-stage rehabilitation and return to sport or function. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of MSK conditions including sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, and chronic pain. Design and implement patient-centred rehabilitation programs, with the ability to progress or regress exercises based on recovery stages and patient response. Provide high-quality care to post-operative orthopaedic patients (UL and LL), including inpatient or outpatient experience. Deliver tailored rehab for return-to-sport and performance-level clients, including end-stage rehab for athletes. Maintain clear and comprehensive clinical documentation and treatment plans. Participate in ongoing CPD and contribute to in-service training (IST) sessions. Support junior physiotherapists or students as required. Contribute to clinical improvement initiatives or service development projects where appropriate. Ability to create partnerships and relationships with local referring doctors and GPs Person Specification Essential Criteria BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent). Minimum 5-7 years' post-graduate experience in MSK physiotherapy. At least 2 years’ experience working in private practice. Strong experience in managing both acute and chronic pain conditions. Proven experience in end-stage rehabilitation and return-to-sport programming. Competence in working with high-level or elite athletes across varied sports. Clinical experience in orthopaedic rehabilitation, including both upper and lower limb post-op cases (inpatient or outpatient). Strong understanding of rehab principles, with ability to progress/regress patients through recovery phases. HCPC registration (or equivalent). Active engagement in CPD, with a track record of attending relevant courses annually. Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills. IT literate, with experience in electronic note-taking systems and working knowledge of Excel for basic data tracking or reporting. Desirable Criteria: Previous experience working in the UAE or similar healthcare setting. Confidence in delivering CPD/IST sessions to peers. Additional certifications in strength & conditioning or specialist rehab areas (e.g. ACL rehab, shoulder rehab, return-to-play testing). Interest or experience in clinical audit, service improvement, or mentoring.
