Band 7 Clinical Lead MSK Physiotherapist

Overview: The company are a private business who specialise in providing services to paying older Adults. They are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join their growing team. This role combines hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, providing opportunities to shape the future of our physiotherapy services. The successful candidate will specialise in MSK, Elderly care, and/or Orthopaedics while driving clinical excellence and operational innovation within the practice. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Practice: -Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and goal setting for a designated caseload of patients, focusing on MSK and Elderly care. -Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective patient care. Team Leadership & Development: •Supervise, mentor, and support a small team of physiotherapists, ensuring their ongoing professional development. •Conduct weekly clinical reviews and organize CPD events to enhance team skills and knowledge. •Act as the first point of contact for the therapy team in clinical emergencies, providing on-call support as needed. Service Monitoring & Improvement: •Monitor service delivery through patient feedback and regular audits. •Identify opportunities for new services and implement processes to improve the patient journey. •Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Clinical Director to introduce and integrate physiotherapy services with partners and facilities. Operational Management: •Oversee service delivery at facilities where physiotherapy services are provided, ensuring clinical caseloads are effectively managed. •Liaise with care teams and management to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care. •Support compliance with health and safety and clinical regulations in partnership with the Director and Practice Manager. Recruitment & Training: •Participate in the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of new therapists to maintain a high-performing team. Marketing & Business Development: •Represent the practice at trade shows and events to enhance visibility and build new partnerships. •Identify and introduce service opportunities to potential partners. Work Schedule: •Clinical work: 4 days per week. •Administrative and leadership tasks: 1 day per week. •With the growth of partnerships in 2025 this role will be required to take on more operational/leadership tasks and less resulting in less clinical days. •Ability to work in Southwest London, Fulham and surrounding areas Key Skills and Attributes: •Strong clinical expertise in MSK – Experience in Orthopaedics and Elderly a bonus •Strong Manuel Therapy Skills •Experience in Pilates would be a bonus •Min 1-3 years’ experience as clinical lead •Excellent communication and organisational skills. •A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and implementing solutions. Qualifications: •Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent). •HCPC registration.
