The Willows Physiotherapy are looking for a friendly, proficient MSK physiotherapist with a strong hands-on approach to treatment. You will understand and practice the highest standard of customer service, be a great communicator and build good working relationships with staff, clients and suppliers. Your role will revolve around clinical patient work in our Ashton in Makerfield clinic. Previous experience in a private setting is preferable but not essential, a willingness to learn, integrate into the team and provide excellent customer service is more important. Holding a degree in physiotherapy and registration with The Health Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), you will have some experience in a clinic setting, working knowledge of a broad range of conditions and treatment options. In addition, you must demonstrate a patient centred approach, excellent communications skills and be willing to constantly develop and harness accurate diagnostic skills. We work closely with some of the leading Orthopaedic consultants in the Northwest and send regular referrals for diagnostic imaging and surgical intervention. Employment will be on a self-employed patient by patient basis and working hours can be discussed. Your day-to-day duties will include: Manage your clinical case load of patients autonomously utilising analytical skills to form an accurate diagnosis and perform hands on treatments. To identify clinical problems, use clinical reasoning skills to establish patient-centred goals and draw up treatment plans utilising a wide range of treatment skills and options; seeking clinical guidance or second opinion as clinically indicated. To deliver the service on a face-to-face assessment and treatment basis and, where necessary, refer onward. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills, deliver hands on treatment, electrotherapy, acupuncture and exercises based programmes Have the skills to inform patients of realistic rehabilitation prognosis and future prospects with respect to work, sport, function etc. Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with your patients & work colleagues. Be a competent and confident IT user and well organised Be reliable and able to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
